James is the Deputy Chairman (Political) of the Brent Central Conservative Association. He has lived in Brent for a number of years.
James will be standing in the local council election in 2018 as a Conservative candidate for the Mapesbury ward. He is a strong advocate for better education in Brent, better parking and better healthcare services, in particular for children.
James works as a Campaign Manager for the Conservative Party and previously worked in Westminster. In Parliament, he led the campaign against human trafficking, and established a number of inter-parliamentary groups across Europe in order to have better communications in the fight against human trafficking.
In his spare time James enjoys football, rugby and cycling, and has completed a number of cycling trips in order to raise money for Great Ormond Street, who took excellent care of his daughter when she was born.
